After a strong and consistent first half of the season, Noryn Polsini now leads the Swiss National 250 championship following a decisive performance in Broc. Riding with GASGAS and known for his calm focus and precise riding style, Noryn is one of the standout figures of 2025. We caught up with him to talk about the championship battle, his preparation, and what lies ahead.
NP- The season 2025 is going really well, for the first year on the 250ccm i had some good races and good results and i hope i can keep the good work for the rest of this year.
NP- It's feeling good to lead the championship but there is also a little bit of pressure because its really close, but if i keep riding like the last few races i think i can make a little gap.
NP- I think it's hard because i had some bad result in Trachslau which cost me points for the championship but im focusing on the rest of the season now.
NP- I had a really good feeling before the race because i knew the track was going to be good and yeah, i had fun and that was the key for winning.
NP- I just had two good starts and could pass the riders really fast and then i just rode my own race and won so it was really good.
NP - The bike is great also because of my mechanic Marko Fleischmann is doing a great job all the time so i feel well.
NP- No actually I didn't changed stuff on the bike to much, only the suspension so I don't get tired so fast.
NP- I think the most training is my job as a roofer, but also i do a lot of conditioning or training for my strength.
NP- On weekends while its race season there is not many time to train on the bike especially for me because im doing a full time job as a roofer, but after work during the week i do some cycling or I hit the gym.
NP- I made big steps from last year to this year, Alex Andreis (my coach) really helped me a lot to get faster on the bike.
NP- Im looking forward to the next race and i hope the season will end well with a 1st overall in the championship
NP- Yes, my goal is maybe to get a podium in the mx2 category next year, maybe on another bike, but it's not fix yet.
NP- It would mean a lot to me because i worked really hard to get here and i hope it will be my first year and already winning a title.
NP- To all the younger riders: always have fun in what you are doing and work hard until the work pays off. A BIG THANKS to all my sponsors and the biggest thanks goes to my mom and dad because without them i wouldn’t be where I am right now.
