E2 Productions: Building Identity Beyond the Bike

In modern motocross, performance is no longer the only thing that defines a rider. Style, presence, and identity have become just as important — both on and off the track.

That’s exactly where E2 Productions comes in.

Founded by Nils, E2 Productions is more than just a design brand. It’s a creative project built from passion, rooted deeply in motocross culture, and driven by the idea that every rider deserves a unique visual identity. From custom bike graphics to helmet designs, E2 is focused on translating personality, energy, and style into something tangible.

What started as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into something bigger — a growing brand with international ambitions, already building connections across Europe and the United States.

In this exclusive interview with MX Magazine, Nils shares the story behind E2 Productions, his creative vision, and how he’s aiming to leave a mark in the world of motocross design.

INTRODUCTION

MXM- Can you introduce yourself and explain what E2 Productions is all about?

Nils- My name is Nils, I’m the founder of E2 Productions. and also an entrepreneur running a marketing agency. At the end of the day, E2 is all about custom motocross graphics, helmet designs, and giving riders something that actually represents them on the track.

It’s not just about making something look good, it's about creating a whole identity around the bike and the rider.

MXM- How would you describe your role within the brand today?

Nils- Right now, I’m mainly on the creative side. I design most of the work, develop concepts, and shape the overall look of the brand.

But since we’re still growing, I’m also involved in pretty much everything building the brand, working on partnerships, and pushing the vision forward.

THE ORIGIN

MXM- How did the idea for E2 Productions first come to life?

Nils- It started pretty naturally. I’ve always been into motocross and design, and I just began creating graphics for fun.

Over time, it got more serious, and I realized there’s potential to build something real out of it.

MXM- You’ve been designing bikes and helmets for a long time. When did this passion start?

Nils- It started a few years ago when I first got into design. At the beginning, I was just experimenting, trying different styles and learning everything myself. But the more I did it, the more I got into it,it just became something I really enjoy.

MXM- At what point did you decide to take it from a hobby into something public and professional?

Nils- The turning point was when people started noticing my work.

I got feedback, people reached out, and that’s when I knew this could actually be something real. That’s when I decided to go all in and build E2 Productions properly.

CREATIVE VISION

MXM- What is the core vision behind E2 Productions?

Nils- The vision is to build something that really connects with riders.

Not just selling graphics, but creating designs that reflect the rider’s personality, style, and energy on the track.

MXM- How would you describe your design style?

Nils- I’d say it’s a mix of clean and aggressive.Strong lines, bold details, but still balanced so it looks professional and not overdone.

MXM- Where do you find inspiration for your graphics and concepts?

Nils- Honestly, most of it comes straight from my head. I don’t always sit down and look for inspiration, I just start creating. Ideas come naturally when I’m thinking about bikes, riders, and how everything should look and feel on the track. Of course, motocross and other styles influence it, but in the end it’s about turning those thoughts into something unique in my own way.

MXM- How important is design and visual identity in modern motocross?

Nils- I think it’s more important than ever. It’s not just about performance anymore, how your bike looks, your gear, your overall image… it all plays a role. It’s part of how riders express themselves

BRAND PHILOSOPHY

MXM- You mentioned that you’re not trying to compete with other companies — can you explain that mindset?

Nils- For me, it’s not about competing or comparing. It’s more about building something authentic and doing things our own way. If you stay true to your vision, everything else follows

MXM- Is E2 Productions more driven by passion or long-term business goals?

Nils- It definitely started with passion. But at the same time, the goal is to build something long-term and turn it into a real brand. So it’s both

MXM- What makes your brand different from others in the industry?

Nils- I’d say it’s the rider-driven mindset. Everything we do comes from actually being part of the sport. It’s not just design from the outside it’s something we live ourselves.

TEAM & STRUCTURE

MXM- You’re currently a team of three how do you divide roles within the company?

Nils- We keep it simple. Everyone has their own focus design, operations, and business but we all stay involved in the bigger

picture and key decisions.

MXM- You handle Europe while your partner manages distribution in the U.S. how does that collaboration work?

Nils- That’s actually a big advantage for us. We have a strong connection between Europe and the U.S., which allows us to operate in both markets directly. With our partners and connections in the U.S., we’re able to move fast, work with riders and teams, and actually make things happen.

It’s not just talk it’s execution on both sides.

MXM- Was it important for you to keep the team small and flexible?

Nils- Yeah, definitely. Being small helps us stay fast, flexible, and focused. We can move quickly and adapt without overcomplicating things.

GROWTH & PARTNERSHIPS

MXM- You’ve already built partnerships for production, materials, and worldwide distribution. How did you achieve that so early?

Nils- A big part of it was building the right connections early, especially in the U.S.We focused on working with the right people and partners who understand the level we want to reach. Once you have the right network, things move a lot faster.

MXM- What were the biggest challenges when turning your designs into real products?

Nils- Making sure everything translates perfectly from screen to real life.Design is one thing, but production quality, materials, and durability that’s where it really matters.

MXM- How do you ensure quality and consistency across different markets?

Nils- We work with trusted partners and keep a close eye on everything.Quality is a top priority for us, so we don’t compromise on that.

INDUSTRY PRESENCE

MXM- You’re already in contact with two teams for 2027 can you tell us more about these opportunities?

Nils- We’re already in contact with 2 teams, in Europe and the U.S., and exploring different opportunities for the future. Through our connections, we’re able to have real conversations and look at what’s possible on a higher level. The goal is to get E2 on bikes in competitive environments and build long-term partnerships.

MXM- How important is it for you to see your brand represented by riders and teams?

Nils- It’s huge.!! Seeing your designs on real bikes, out on the track that’s what it’s all about.

MXM- What would be a dream collaboration for E2 Productions?

Nils- A dream collaboration would be working with top-level riders and strong teams both in Europe and the U.S.

We want to be part of competitive environments where performance and image go hand in hand, and where we can bring our designs to life on a high level.

At the same time, it’s just as important for us to work with upcoming riders, support their journey, and grow together.

For us, it’s not just about big names it’s about building real connections and creating something meaningful.

FUTURE OF E2 PRODUCTIONS

MXM- Where do you see the brand in the next 2–3 years?

Nils- I see E2 growing into a strong international brand, with a solid presence in both Europe and the U.S. The goal is to work with more riders, more teams, and build something that’s recognized in the industry.

MXM- Are you planning to expand your product range beyond bike and helmet designs?

Nils- Yeah, definitely. We’re already working on expanding into apparel and building a more complete brand around E2.

MXM- Do you see E2 Productions becoming a major name in motocross design?

Nils- That’s definitely the goal. We’re still at the beginning, but we’re building step by step and pushing it in that direction.

PERSONAL CONNECTION

MXM- What does it mean to you personally to build something like E2 Productions?

Nils- It means a lot. Building something from scratch around something you’re passionate about that’s something special.

MXM- Do you feel more like an artist, an entrepreneur, or both?

Nils- I’d say both. I love the creative side, but at the same time I enjoy building something bigger around it.

MXM- How does motocross influence your creativity today?

Nils- Motocross is the base of everything. It influences the designs, the ideas, and the whole direction of the brand.

CLOSING

MXM- If you had to describe E2 Productions in one sentence what would it be?

Nils- E2 Productions is about giving riders a unique identity on the track through custom design.
