The organizers of the Amriswil Motocross have announced with deep regret that this year’s race will not take place.
Following several days of heavy rainfall and unfavorable weather forecasts, the decision was made to cancel the event in advance. The paddock areas are already flooded, and the track itself has suffered significantly from continuous rain, making safe racing conditions impossible.
In their official statement, the organizing committee emphasized that the safety of riders and compliance with environmental and regulatory guidelines are their top priorities.
They explained that they wanted to avoid a situation where riders and teams would travel to Amriswil only to be informed on race day that the event could not go ahead.
“You, dear riders, are at the center of this decision. We do not want you to bear the effort and costs only to arrive on Saturday morning and be told that no races can be held,” the statement read.
The organizers also expressed heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, helpers, and sponsors who had already contributed to preparations or offered their support for the weekend.
Despite the disappointment, the team is already looking ahead:
“Even though this decision is painful today, our focus is already on next year. We hope for better weather and look forward to delivering another legendary Amriswil Motocross for you in 2026.”
